Fretboard type
Here you choose between various fretboard types.When you switch between frets with different
number of strings(from Nylon to Bass 5,for example) tuning also switches to standard tuning for that
instrument
- Left handed
if checked fretboard is flipped horizontally so lefthanded guitarists can use the
program without frustration

Display- keyboard
if checked then piano keyboard is show,and shows what is on fretboard.Same you
can do by double clicking in application caption bar. (red bar on top of window)
- notes for keyboard
if checked notes are displayed for pressed piano keys.Depending on dot
type for guitar it will be or note name (C,D#...) or degree of major scale(1,2#...)
- fret numbers if checked fret numbers are shown above frets.
DotsChoose dots which represents notes on fretboard.
- dots only (with root)
notes are displayed as simple dot with 'R' letter on it if note is root
note(root is same as key,or tonality)
- notes note
names are displayed (if sharp-# or flat-b notes are used depends on formula that
represents current chord,scale or whatever is displayed)
- degrees of major scale notes
are represented in degrees of current key major scale(If key is
G,for example,1 means G,1# means G# ...etc)
Sound settings- Midi out let you
choose midi device(sound card) that will be used for playing sounds
- Instrument let
you choose instrument for playing sounds (avoid using instruments with long
sustained notes,for the purpose the best ones are,well
,acoustic guitar and acoustic piano)
- Synth sound
sound which will be used for playing chords in "long play" mode (red play button)
- Chord notes interval
time delay between successive notes of chord.
- Scale & arpeggio
notes interval same as above(the less value is-the more it will sound like Yngwie Malmsteen is playing

)
- Playing pattern
is order in which notes are played for scales and arpeggios.Up means that
notes will be played ascending,Down-descending,Up-Down-ascending then descending,Down-
Up-descending then ascending.All that will be played through number of octaves chosen in number of octaves option.

Tuning
Choose one of the tunings offered.When you switch to another fretboard type list of tunings also
switches to only that which are appropriate for chosen fretboard.Also when changed between
fretboards with different number of strings (for example Gibson to Bass) tuning is automatically
seated to standard tuning for that instrument
